Happy birthday Melissa! My favorite thing about you has been watching you be a mom to Andrew. You are tender and attentive and so willing to sacrifice for his well-being. I know (now better than ever) how taking care of an infant and baby can be so draining and thankless and you have handled it so beautifully. Andrew is so cute and so fun to be around. He was so much fun at the Christmas party and that kind of friendliness often comes from feeling safe and happy at home. I also love knowing and seeing how you can balance mothering and working. I know it's at a much slower pace and it will be if you spend the time with Andrew that he needs, but you are still pushing along. It's inspiring and encouraging. Happiest birthday wishes!
