Happy birthday, Melissa!!!! O' all the friends I've had in my life, there have been few that hold such a special place in my heart. You have been there with me through all the important things--yucky and fun high school times, Mormon Youth Chorus (that awesome trip), when I was dating Mark, and when I wasn't dating Mark ;), When I went through the temple for the first time, when I finally decided to marry Mark...
No wonder I count you among my very best and closest friends, no matter the time or distance away.
I'll always cherish and remember the time we spent together right before you left on a mission; eating at LaFrontera, and having very important conversations :) and even more than that--the few weeks before you got married, spending almost every day with you either on the phone or in your bedroom hunkered down in bed just talking and talking. I love you!!!!!

Thank you for being one o' the best friends I've ever had! You accepted me into your life, and loved me despite my incessant craziness!!

The most amazing thing about you is how great o' a mother you are. You are loving and patient and so sweet with your little one. I am so very impressed by the way that you take care o' him. He will grow up knowing that his mother loves him, and that is more important than any other lesson he could ever learn. Thanks for being such a great example to me!
